There were a lot of reasons for the Tennessee Titans’ failure in 2024 — quarterback uncertainty, offensive line woes, inconsistent special teams, and more. One of the things that hasn’t been discussed as much as anything else is how many injuries were suffered by Titans’ players in 2024. According to a new report from Rotowire, they were one of the most injured teams in the NFL this past season. The Titans saw their injured players miss a total of 205 games, ranking sixth-most in the NFL behind the Detroit Lions (254), Cleveland Browns (248), Miami Dolphins (227), San Francisco 49ers (226), and Pittsburgh Steelers (223).Of those teams, the Titans had the fewest number of injuries, but the severity increased the number of games missed by players. Will Levis, Tony Pollard, Tyler Boyd, Tyjae Spears, Arden Key, Otis Reese, Chance Campbell, Jack Gibbens, and many other Titans players suffered injuries in 2023. Some worse than others, but all of which contributed to the Titans’ inability to obtain any consistency. The players who were left standing did the best they could, but losing guys like Chance Campbell and Lloyd Cushenberry for the season completely crushed the morale of this team. And it showed every week.
