Real Madrid player decides to leave

A Spanish press report revealed today, Sunday, that one of Real Madrid’s players decided to leave during the current winter transfer period, after he failed to prove himself to his Italian coach, Carlo Ancelotti.

According to the website “estadiodeportivo”, the Merengue defender, Jesus Vallejo (28 years old), intends to leave after feeling that Ancelotti will not rely on him, despite the team’s defense suffering from a clear numerical shortage, as the coach prefers to play the young player, Raul Asensio.

Austrian star David Alaba is also close to returning to participate with the team again, after an absence of more than a year, as he was injured in September 2023 against Villarreal.

These factors prompted the Spanish player to look for offers to leave, especially since his contract expires at the end of the current season, and it will be difficult to renew it.

Vallejo only played for 10 minutes this season, against Deportivo Alaves last September.
