The New York Giants will reportedly attempt to move up in the NFL Draft and take the No 1 pick from the Tennessee Titans in the coming days and possibly weeks. New York’s possible jump from third overall to No 1 comes after missing on its first home-run swing of the offseason in acquiring Matthew Stafford from the Los Angeles Rams, as the quarterback decided to stay in Hollywood. Should the Giants make the move to No 1 overall, it is highly expected that they would select Cam Ward with the pick, per SNY.  The haul to move up two selections in the NFL Draft would be massive, with multiple future first round picks and likely a star player needing to head to Nashville in return.  The Giants have an immediate need at quarterback after moving on from Daniel Jones at the end of last season. New York has also given multiple opportunities to backups Drew Lock and Tommy DeVito, with neither gaining the confidence of the organization to be the full-time starter.    New York Giants head coach Brian Daboll may be part of the team plotting to get the top pick Should the Giants move up two spots to the top overall spot, Cam Ward is likely to be the pickBy most metrics, Ward is the top available quarterback in the 2025 Draft, with he fellow signal caller Shedeur Sanders, edge rusher Abdul Carter, and two-way star Travis Hunter considered the top quartet in the draft. Per SNY, most teams have Ward rated higher than Sanders, with a few even believing Sanders is not the second-best quarterback in the draft. The Giants would also look to bring in a veteran quarterback, like Russell Wilson, to pair with Ward should the plan to move up in the draft succeed.  New York is far from the only team that should inquire about the top overall pick, as several teams have a need for an immediate starting quarterback. The Giants have a little leverage in those discussion as the Titans could get a massive haul and still get another top player in the draft just to move back two spots.
