SALT LAKE CITY- The seventh-seeded Lone Peak Knights entered the 6A Girls Basketball State Championship seeking their fourth straight title, and in their way were the top-seeded team in the tournament, the Copper Hills Grizzlies, making for a rematch of last year’s championship game.
Despite trailing at halftime, the championship pedigree shoes through for Lone Peak as they would tie the game by the end of the third quarter before putting it away to cut down the nets at the Huntsman Center for the fourth year in a row, and seventh total time for head coach Nancy Warner.
