Barcelona has strengthened its lead as the club with the most Spanish Super Cup titles, after raising its tally to 15 titles.
Barcelona achieved a crushing victory with a score of (5-2) against its traditional rival Real Madrid, on Sunday evening, in the Spanish Super Cup final, at the Shining Jewel Stadium in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia.
Barcelona scored through Raphinha (two goals), Balde, Robert Lewandowski and Lamine Yamal, while Real Madrid’s two goals came through Kylian Mbappe and Rodrygo.
This is the second time Barcelona has won the title in the new system (consisting of 4 teams) after winning the 2023 edition
. It is noteworthy that Real Madrid ranks second behind Barcelona in the number of times it has won the Spanish Super Cup (13 times).
