Tennis: Tennis: Davis Cup 2025 World Group I ties – Full draw and schedule

The 2025 Davis Cup is shaping up, with the draw for the World Group I confirmed.

The 13 ties for the second tier of the men’s ‘World Cup of tennis’ were revealed in the draw on Thursday (6 March), to take place on either 12-13 or 13-14 September 2025.

Nations involved in the World Group I are either winners of the World Group I Play-offs earlier this year, or lost in the 2025 Qualifiers 1st Round.

The allocated home nations have choice over the venue and the dates for their World Group Ities. The winners will progress to the 2026 Davis Cup Qualifiers 1st Round, where they will have a chance to reach the Final 8 tournament at the end of 2026.

The World Group I ties take place on the same weekend as the Qualifiers 2nd Round, which determine the lineup for the 2025 Davis Cup Final 8 in Bologna, Italy on 18-23 November 2025.

Ties will take place as best-of-five matches with two singles rubbers on the first day, followed by the doubles match and reverse singles rubbers on the second day.

Among the names who could feature in World Group I are Novak Djokovic (Serbia), Casper Ruud (Norway), Stefanos Tsitsipas (Greece), Felix Auger-Aliassime (Canada), Jack Draper (Great Britain), and Joao Fonseca (Brazil). Find the full draw below.
