The 2025 Big Ten Wrestling Championships are set to take place at Welsh-Ryan Arena at Northwestern University this weekend, March 8-9, and promise to be one of the most competitive and exciting tournaments in NCAA Division I wrestling.Â
With the Big Ten Conference being the deepest in the nation, this event will feature the best wrestlers outside of the NCAA Championships. The tournament will kick off on Saturday at 11:00 a.m. ET, with the semifinals scheduled for 8:00 p.m. ET.
This year’s competition is expected to showcase intense battles, with top contenders like Mitchell Mesenbrink, Levi Haines, and Gable Steveson leading the charge. As always, Iowa wrestling and Penn State wrestling take a lot of the No. 1 seeds and will garner a ton of attention.Â
