Michigan basketball’s Dusty May talked dust up with Michigan State

Michigan State dominated Michigan on the Spartans senior day Sunday afternoon. The Spartans beat the Wolverines, 79-62, and celebrated their latest Big Ten championship.

As is tradition in East Lansing on senior day, the Spartans seniors will kiss the mid court logo before leaving the Breslin Center court for the final time. Against Michigan, Wolverine guards Phat Phat Brooks and LJ Cason were standing on the center court logo, and Tre Holloman was not having it.

A skirmish broke out at midcourt, with Holloman pushing the Wolverine players out of the way to let his seniors have their moment, carrying on the Spartans tradition. When the dust settled, the Spartans were able to finish out the tradition that has been longstanding in East Lansing.

After the game, Michigan head coach Dusty May commented on the skirmish, offering a small defense. You can see what he had to say via X:
