KANSAS CITY, Mo. (KCTV) – The most famous couple in Kansas City is celebrating another victory.
Music superstar Taylor Swift won the iHeart Radio Music Award for Favorite Surprise Guest thanks to her boyfriend’s cameo at a concert last summer.
Kansas City Chiefs tight end Travis Kelce made the surprise cameo at an Era’s Tour concert in London in June 2024. The win came in a category that was voted on socially.
Swift and Kelce were up for the award in a category that also featured Kelce and Chiefs quarterback Patrick Mahomes for their appearance at a Morgan Wallen concert at Arrowhead Stadium late last summer.
The 35-year-old tight end joined a few of Swift’s dancers for the “I Can Do It With a Broken Heart” pantomime segment of her Era’s Tour show at Wembley Stadium. Kelce carried Swift across the catwalk during the appearance.
“I’ve seen the show enough, might as well put me to work here,” he said on his New Heights Podcast recalling the event. “Sure enough, she found the perfect part of the show for me to come in.”
