Three mock drafts, three different picks for the Denver Broncos from Mel Kiper.
In the January edition of his 2025 NFL mock draft, Kiper had Boise State running back Ashton Jeanty falling to the Broncos at pick No. 20. That would be a dream scenario, but it feels very unlikely now that we’re getting closer to the draft.
In the February edition of his mock, Kiper had Denver landing Michigan tight end Colston Loveland in the first round. Loveland will probably become a less popular pick for the Broncos in mock drafts after the team signed Evan Engram during free agency.
We’re now into March and Kiper has a now mock — and a new pick — for Denver. In his latest update, Kiper predicts the Broncos will land Arizona wide receiver Tetairoa McMillan.
“McMillan would give [Bo] Nix a sure-handed jump ball artist who uses his great body control and physicality to make tough catches,” Kiper wrote on ESPN.com.
McMillan (6-4, 219 pounds) earned first-team All-American honors last fall after hauling in 84 receptions for 1,319 yards and eight touchdowns in 12 games with the Wildcats. He was hand-timed running a 40-yard dash in the “4.55-4.58 range” at Arizona’s pro day this week.
Of note, Jeanty went to the Las Vegas Raiders (No. 6), UNC running back Omarion Hampton went to the Dallas Cowboys (No. 12) and Loveland went to the Indianapolis Colts (No. 14) before Denver went on the clock in Kiper’s mock.
The NFL draft will be held from April 24-26. The Broncos hold seven picks this year.
