DAYTON – The Wright State golf team is back on the course in Florida at the Daytona Beach Intercollegiate on Monday and Tuesday. Teams will play 36 holes on Monday in a shotgun start before a final 18 holes on Tuesday at the LPGA International Golf Club.

Monday’s shotgun start will get underway at 8 a.m. before scheduled tee times beginning at 7:30 a.m. on Tuesday morning.
The Raiders, currently ranked 122nd, will be in the field with five top 100 ranked programs in the 15-team event. Wright State is joined by Austin Peay (139), Campbell (98), Central Arkansas (190), UCF (150), Columbia (200), Florida Atlantic (97), Georgia State (157), Jacksonville State (130), North Alabama (89), UNC Wilmington (100), Oakland (177), tournament host Stetson (115), Troy (85) and West Georgia (234).
Teeing it up for Wright State will be Andrew Flynn, Shane Ochs, Adam Horn, Timmy Hollenbeck and Kye Fisher, while Brock Rumpke will also be competing as an individual.
Since 1997, LPGA International’s Arthur Hills Signature Course has been a favorite among locals and visitors alike. The Golf Digest 4-Star rated par-72 layout is a classic at 6,984 yards. Hills used a superb natural setting to create a masterpiece in playability and variety. It features natural wetlands, narrow pine corridors, small greens and strategically placed water hazards.
