A top AEW star was absent from the recent episode of Dynamite.
Earlier this week, the 19th March episode of Dynamite fell victim to severe weather conditions. While bad weather posed a problem for the Omaha show, Tony Khan had cleared up the concerns ahead of the advertised show.
The episode also featured a World Championship street fight between Jon Moxley and Cope, while Toni Storm challenged Megan Bayne for a championship at Dynasty 2025. Although Moxley’s violent spot attracted a lot of negative attention, the show overall received major praise from fans and critics.
While most of the advertised talents were able to arrive at the venue before the show despite the weather conditions, Fightful Select recently reported the absence of one top name. According to the reports, ‘Switchblade’ Jay White was unable to make the show.
Jay White has recently been involved with the Death Riders on AEW television, with him fighting alongside Cope to fend off the Death Riders. With his victory over Cope on Dynamite, Moxley is now set to face Swerve Strickland on the 2025 Dynasty PPV.
A Top AEW Star Believes Her Future Match Against Timeless Toni Storm Will Be A “Laugh Riot”
Recently, speaking to Flickering Myth, Nyla Rose opened up on facing Storm in the future, and claimed how the match will be both a “laugh riot” and “golden cinema”.
“Honestly, I’ve gotten in the ring with Toni Storm, but I’ve not gotten in the ring with timeless Toni Storm. I think that would be a laugh riot. Well, that’s not entirely true. We touched, we locked horns briefly, very briefly in a one-off tag match. But like to actually have something with her would be, that would be golden cinema.”
