AEW Dynamite brings a televised wrestling event back to Roy Wilkins Auditorium. It’s been almost 25 years since ECW held Anarchy Rulz in the St Paul’s venue.
On Wednesday, AEW comes with a loaded card. This past Sunday, plenty of enticing graphics were dropped on social media.
Expectations remain high for more reasons than Jon Moxley’s gruesome mutilation last week. Some of it is negative, but those critics of violence get plenty wrong. Like, seemingly the new sponsor of Progressive Auto Insurance.
Neither Moxley nor Swerve Strickland are 100% heading towards their AEW World Championship match at Dynasty. However, with two weeks left, the build needs to escalate quickly.
Bring in the crowd!

Don Callis Family in Singles Action
Splintering from Collision Slam Dunk Saturday, we go from trios action pitting The Don Callis Family against their opponents to three singles matches. This could be a triple threat of show-stealers. Showcasing the best of AEW’s midcard, there could be more to these matches than just bangers.
Brody King vs. Kyle Fletcher could be a physical and brutal starter. King, as a versatile monster, rarely disappoints.
Punishing Fletcher’s ego and his bones could be satisfying. However, with Fletcher’s ever-improving performances, it might be a tough outing for the Aussie, but another big win.
Powerhouse Hobbs vs. Mark Davies serves meat madness. Davies’ dynamisms mean this isn’t going to be a slow affair. Powerhouse Hobbs is still taking his frustration out on his former stable mates, yet, with Lance Archer and Brian Cage possibly looking on, will more meat be served?
Konosuke Takeshita has made his frustrations about losing the AEW International Championship clear each week. On Wednesday, Takeshita might believe he’s going to pluck the feathers off Mark Briscoe. However, Mark Briscoe might work with chickens, but that boy aint no chicken.
The master of Red Neck Kung Fu never gives up. If Takeshita wants the win, he will have to earn it.
Can the Family get a clean sweep? Or is at least one opponent going to be a thorn in their side? How might this also link to Dynasty?
MJF Gives His Answer
Over the past few weeks, doubt has been visible. Even before Lexi Nair walked in on MJF berating himself for his loss to Hangman Adam Page and smashing a mirror. Besides paralleling Hangman’s own first arc of imposter syndrome, it displayed an aspect of MJF’s character that’s repeatedly been shown to us time and time again.
First during his legendary feud with CM Punk. Then during his friendship with Adam Cole. MJF’s inadequacy, despite his bravado, reminds us of who he really is – someone who needs other external things to protect himself.
The Hurt Syndicate is a creative vehicle that has helped AEW’s creative turn a corner by bringing interlinking story threads back to the company and pushing character change. MJF feels he needs a clique. That doesn’t necessarily mean becoming a member of The Hurt Syndicate?
Could MJF go back to some version of The Pinnacle? Or does he reach back further into his past? His own Dynasty from MLW?
Both Alex Hammerstone and Richard Holliday are free agents. Or does it go in a very different direction?
