PARKERSBURG — For those with art supplies, frames, decor, or craft materials they no longer need, the Parkersburg Art Center is now accepting donations for its annual Y’Art Sale.

Those wishing to contribute can drop off gently used art-related items Tuesday, March 11, through Thursday, March 13, between 10 a.m. and 4 p.m.

The Y’Art Sale itself takes place on Saturday, March 15, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m., offering a treasure trove of affordable art, frames, craft supplies, and decor. For those eager to get first pick, an Early Bird Sale will be held on Friday, March 14, from 5-7 p.m. Admission to the Early Bird Sale is free for Parkersburg Art Center members and $10 for non-members.

“We have original artwork, art prints, frames, art books, beads, display stands, holiday items, preschool toys, and a whole bunch of other cool stuff for sale, cheap,” said Jessie Siefert, Managing Director of the Parkersburg Art Center. “Generous supporters have donated wonderful items as they downsize or remodel, including bins of thread and packaging supplies from Kreinik Manufacturing. Artists also contribute materials they no longer use. We keep what benefits our programs, but we have an abundance, and it’s time to share.

“This sale is perfect for anyone looking to update their decor, add art to their office, or find unique pieces to give as gifts,” Siefert added. “It’s also a great opportunity for artists to stock up on frames and gently used supplies for their work.”
