Mercedes Moné vs. Billie Starkz
Mercedes Moné has been tormented backstage by Billie Starkz for a few weeks now. The young upstart has idolized Moné in the past and has been clawing to get a shot at a match with Mercedes, especially for her TBS Championship.
On social media, Mercedes has been going back and forth with both Billie Starkz and Billie’s long-time stablemate, Athena. Last week, Billie finally challenged Mercedes to a match and it became official.
The TBS Title was on the line as Mercedes and Billie battled on tonight’s AEW Dynamite and Billie brought the fight early. The champion may have been take off guard by the fight of the young Starkz as she fought to the very end in what was an incredible match. But, it was Moné’s veteran-ship that led her to victory after using her signature statement maker submission on Billie Starkz. Mercedes Moné is still the TBS Champion.
