Plumas Arts invites the community to Gather & Create From 5-8, a welcoming, stress-free space for creativity and connection. This evening of artistic exploration, conversation and community is offered every Wednesday through spring at the Plumas Arts Gallery in Quincy.
Whether attendees are families looking for a creative outlet, amateur artists experimenting with new ideas or seasoned professionals seeking inspiration, this space is for them, say organizers. Plumas Arts provides free, rotating art materials each week and “a cozy atmosphere with tea and good company,” say organizers. Attendees may also bring their own art supplies.
“We believe in the power of art to bring people together. Quincy can feel quiet at times, but we hope this initiative inspires other businesses to open their doors and cultivate community through creativity,” said Christopher Rouse Islas Hernandez, executive director of Plumas Arts. “Come as you are, make something beautiful and connect with fellow art lovers.”
