It’s time to fête your favorite films of 2024-2025 one last time — but we’re going out with a bang at the 2025 Oscars.

As usual, the Academy Awards are closing out awards season at the Dolby Theatre in Los Angeles on Sunday, March 2. This year’s exciting acting nominees include Colman Domingo, Demi Moore, Mikey Madison, Ariana Grande and Zoe Saldaña. Movies up for Best Picture have been generating conversation for months now, including Wicked, Conclave, Anora and A Complete Unknown.

The stars will begin gathering on the red carpet this afternoon in California, before host Conan O’Brien kicks off the ceremony.

What else can we expect? Costar reunions, superstar celebrity couples, jaw-dropping fashion, exciting performances (maybe a Wicked musical moment?), a heartfelt in memoriam tribute, and can’t-miss acceptance speeches.
