One of the best players in the NFL has a new job,
And a new identity.
Ravens quarterback Lamar Jackson announced Friday that he is taking his talents to TV where he will make his acting debut in an upcoming episode of the Starz series “Power Book III: Raising Kanan.”
Jackson will appear in one episode of the popular crime drama.
“I’m so excited for fans to see me in this new role and thrilled to be a part of “Power Book III: Raising Kanan,” Jackson wrote on Instagram. “My character, E-Tone is a deadly, dangerous character- you don’t want to get on his bad side!”
Jackson has been a fan of the show, which is a spin-off of the Starz show “Power.” He hinted at his desire to join the cast back in 2023.
Rapper 50 Cent, who is a producer of the show, indicated Jackson could appear on the show when it airs at 8 p.m. on Friday.
The former Heisman Trophy winner and two-time NFL MVP has more than 20,000 passing yards, 6,000 yards and nearly 200 touchdowns in his seven-year NFL career.
