Arizona State Sun Devils running back Cam Skattebo had an impressive showing during the vertical jump drill at the 2025 NFL Combine in Indianapolis on Saturday.
Skattebo hit the 39.50″ mark, tied for second amongst running backs with Kansas State’s DJ Giddens. Skattebo and Giddens finished the drill behind only Virginia Tech’s Bhayshul Tuten who hit 40.50″.

Skattebo would follow it up with a 10’3″ in the broad jump drill, the 12th-highest score amongst running backs.
Skattebo skipping most NFL Combine drills
Prior to his drills on Saturday, Skattebo told reporters on Friday that he would only be participating in the vertical and broad jumps. Skattebo said he intends to do a full workout at Arizona State’s pro day.
Skattebo is also expected to be among the 200-plus athletes to attend the Big 12 Pro Day in Frisco, Texas on March 18-21.
Skattebo is coming off an impressive season at Arizona State, rushing for 1,711 yards and 21 touchdowns on 293 carries. He added another 605 yards on 45 catches and three scores. Skattebo rushed for 143 yards, receiving for 99 more and throwing for 42 yards with three touchdowns combined in ASU’s Peach Bowl loss to Texas.
ESPN listed Skattebo as its fifth-ranked running back prospect in the 2025 NFL Draft, while Pro Football Focus sees him as the third best.
