Broncos select TE Colston Loveland

Mel Kiper’s latest 2025 NFL mock draft has a predictable pick for the Denver Broncos.Like many draft pundits this spring, Kiper has Michigan tight end Colston Loveland landing with the Broncos at pick No. 20. The ESPN pundit believes Loveland could fill the “joker” position that Denver coach Sean Payton is looking to address this offseason.”If you look at what Loveland has done at Michigan and his skill set, he could help fill that role,” Kiper wrote on ESPN.com. “He has the ability to separate, and his 6-foot-5 frame makes it difficult for opponents to match up. Loveland would be quarterback Bo Nix’s best friend in the pass game.”Kiper also noted that picking Loveland at No. 20 would prevent former Wolverines coach Jim Harbaugh from reuniting with the tight end at pick No. 22 when the Los Angeles Chargers go on the clock. The Colston pick is a change from Kiper’s first mock draft that had Boise State running back Ashton Jeanty falling to Denver. Kiper’s latest mock now has Jeanty going off the board at No. 6 overall to the Las Vegas Raiders. The 2025 NFL draft will be held in Wisconsin from April 24-26. The Broncos hold seven draft picks this year and tight end is one of the team’s top needs. Colston could certainly be in play at pick No. 20 next month. These 25 celebrities are Broncos fans
