Milwaukee Bucks vs Phoenix Suns NBA Monday Preview
Tonight, the NBA TV marquee matchup features the Suns at home against the Bucks. This should be an intriguing affair, where the Suns are at a point in which every game is a must-win. The Bucks, on the other hand go into this one a little banged-up, with star point guard Damian Lillard already been ruled out tonight.
Brook Lopez can be seen as a streaky shooter. However, I think tonight provides a matchup where he will thrive. He will most likely be guarded by either Nick Richards or Mason Plumlee, who are both interior focused defenders. This will create opportunities for Brook to be a pick-and-pop kind of player tonight.
In addition, with the absence of Lillard, we have to expect Lopez to have more shot opportunities. In the Bucks’ latest game against the Kings, Brook covered this line shooting 3-of-6 from three-point range and ending with 21 points.
Devin Booker has averaged 9.7 assists per game in his last five games for the Suns. He has benefited from Bradley Beal missing a few games recently, and Beal has also already been ruled out tonight.
Booker’s efficiency has also skyrocketed during this time, and last game he notched 10 assists on a whopping 17 potentials.
