It makes sense that the opening projection would be at 4.5, however, the Bulls have allowed the 2nd-most rebounds per game to opponents (47.1). They will also be without Ayo Dosunmu and Nikola Vucevic.Still, Haliburton has only averaged those 3.5 rebounds on just 5.5 rebound chances per game. RotoGrinders’ CourtIQ does show Haliburton gets a slight bump in his rebound rates with Bennedict Mathurin out, so I do think 4.5 rebounds as an opening projection makes sense given the plus matchup.If you’re into recent trends, Haliburton averaged just 2.8 rebounds per game over 5 rebound chances per game in the month of February, which are both lower than his season averages.
