Mecole Hardman’s fiance, Chariah Gordon, is finding it tough to say goodbye to the Kansas City Chiefs community.
After Hardman signed a one-year contract with the Green Bay Packers, Gordon shared her heartbreak on social media, expressing how much she would miss the friends she made during their time in Kansas City.
Taking to Instagram, she posted a heartfelt message alongside photos of the Chiefs’ WAGs.
“I’m really going to miss y’all,” she posted alongside a crying emoji and a broken heart.
Some of the pictures included memorable moments with Taylor Swift, who has been dating Chiefs’ tight end Travis Kelce since 2023.
Close bonds and special memories
During her time in Kansas City, Gordon built strong friendships with the partners of Chiefs players, including Sheawna Weathersby, ex-girlfriend of defensive tackle Chris Jones.
However, one of her closest friendships was with Taylor Swift. The two first met at Kelce’s home and quickly became close, with Gordon even calling Swift her “sis.”
Their friendship extended beyond game-day celebrations. In an interview last November, Gordon revealed that Swift had sent a thoughtful gift to her daughter, Ci, while she was on tour in Europe.
“It was so freaking cute and so thoughtful,” Gordon said, adding that Swift made an effort to stay connected despite her busy schedule.
Hardman, 27, was drafted by the Chiefs in the second round of the 2019 NFL Draft and played a key role in the team’s success over the years.
A three-time Super Bowl champion, he delivered a standout performance in Super Bowl LVIII by scoring the game-winning touchdown in the Chiefs’ overtime victory against the 49ers.
During the 2024 season, Hardman appeared in 12 games, recording 12 receptions for 90 yards and rushing five times for 62 yards and a touchdown.
However, his season was cut short when a knee injury placed him on injured reserve in December, forcing him to miss the postseason.
Now, Hardman is preparing for a fresh start with the Packers. As he joins Green Bay’s roster, his speed and versatility will be valuable assets to the team’s offense.
While Gordon and Hardman embrace this next chapter, their time in Kansas City will remain a cherished part of their journey.
