1 hour agoArizona Diamondbacks outfielder Corbin Carroll (back) was removed from Sunday’s spring training contest due to lower-back tightness. Fantasy managers should continue to monitor his status over the next few days as this move could have been precautionary. Before exiting the contest, Carroll went 0-for-2 at the plate with a strikeout. During the early part of spring training, the former top prospect has been flashed elite power as he has gone deep three times and held a 1.821 OPS across five games. The 24 year-old has noted that he focused on continuing to improve the swing adjustments he made during the second half of the 2024 season. After the Midsummer classic last season, Carroll carried an elite .919 OPS which was a significant increase compared to the .635 OPS he held in the first-half. When healthy, fantasy managers should view Carroll as an elite five-category contributor in all formats with the upside to showcase career-high power production.–Andy Smith – RotoBallerSource: Arizona Diamondbacks
