Divine Deablo NFL career highlights

Free-agent LB Divine Deablo could compete for a starting job in Atlanta this season

The Atlanta Falcons entered free agency without much salary cap space, and their early signings have reflected that. While the team hasn’t added any big-name free agents, the Falcons have brought in a few under-the-radar players who should help on defense next season.

Linebacker Divine Deablo was among the first players signed by Atlanta at the start of the new league year. The former Las Vegas Raiders defender isn’t exactly a household name, but that doesn’t mean he won’t bring value to this Falcons team in 2025.

Two years ago, the team signed linebacker Kaden Elliss, a relative unknown, and he’s developed into one of the team’s best players. Deablo, 26, has started 29 games over the last two seasons, recording 169 tackles (100 solo), two sacks, and two passes defended.

The former Virginia Tech standout was selected in the third round of the 2021 NFL draft. The Falcons have not re-signed Lorenzo Carter or Nate Landman so Deablo could start this season for Atlanta. Watch Deablo’s NFL career highlights below, as shared by the team’s social media account.
