Dodgers prospect roster for 2025 spring breakout game vs. Cubs

While the major league contingent of the Dodgers will be halfway across the world in Tokyo, Dodgers prospects will battle Cubs prospects on March 13 in a night game televised by MLB Network.

This is the second year of the league-wide spring breakout series, in which minor league players play in major league spring training parks as a way to showcase some of the top prospects in the sport. Rosters were announced on Thursday for all of the spring breakout games.

Last year, among the standouts in the Dodgers spring breakout were Justin Wrobleski and Edgardo Henriquez, who later made their major league debuts during the season.

Among the Dodgers on this year’s breakout roster are their top signings in the previous two international periods (Joendry Vargas, Emil Morales) and their top draft picks of the last two years (Kendall George, Kellon Lindsey). George played in last year’s spring breakout game as well, as did Josue De Paula, Zyhir Hope, and Jackson Ferris, who each appeared on several top-100 prospect lists this year and are back on the breakout game roster in 2025.

The rosters are subject to change. Perhaps other non-roster invitees could be reassigned to the minors by next week and added here. But a few of the Dodgers already on the roster (Ferris, Jose Rodriguez) are technically still in major league camp.
