COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. (KKTV) – On Monday afternoon, the Colorado Springs Fire Department battled a grass fire near Valley Hi Golf Corse located at East Fountain Boulevard and South Circle Drive in Colorado Springs.
As of 3:20 p.m., the fire department said the fire was knocked down.
11 News is working to find out what caused the fire.
Colorado Springs has been on high fire danger throughout Monday afternoon as wind gusts could reach up to 65 mph.
