Keswick Hall is renovating its Full Cry golf course

Full Cry golf course at Keswick Hall near Charlottesville, Virginia, is undergoing a renovation to several holes. Architect Scot Sherman is doing the work, which is expected to wrap up in April. 

Full Cry is ranked by Golfweek’s Best as the No. 4 public-access course in Virginia. It also ranks No. 57 on the list of best resort courses in the U.S. and is tied for No. 70 among all public-access courses in the U.S. The Pete Dye-designed layout opened in 2014. 

Sherman is making tweaks to the par-4 13th hole, adding a new tee box on the par-4 sixth hole and making small adjustments to the par-5 17th. The most notable work has been to the par-4 ninth, which has been completely redesigned.
