ELLENSBURG, Wash. – The Central Washington University Athletic Department has announced that Lindsey Lee has stepped down as Head Coach of the CWU Women’s Soccer Team.
During her three seasons at the helm, Coach Lee guided the Wildcats to notable achievements, including 11 All-GNAC selections and four GNAC Player of the Week honors. Under her leadership, the program excelled academically, with five College Sports Communicators Academic All-District recognitions and 49 Academic All-GNAC honorees. Additionally, three different Wildcats posted a perfect 4.0 GPA, leading the conference, while the team consistently ranked among the GNAC’s top academic performers.
“I want to thank Coach Lee for her service and dedication to the Wildcat Soccer Program and the Department of Athletics over the past three seasons,” CWU Director of Athletics Dr. Dennis Francois said. “I appreciate all of her efforts to advance the soccer program, and we wish her and the Lee family the very best in this new chapter of their life.”
Current Assistant Women’s Soccer Coach John Hawks will be named Interim Head Coach through the 2026 season.
