Morehead, Ky.– The Morehead State men’s golf team heads to the Oregon coast to compete in the 2025 Bandon Dunes Championship at the world-famous Bandon Dunes Resort in Bandon, Ore., March 9-11.

The 54-hole tournament will be contested over the 6,794-yard, par 71 Bandon Trails Course, one of the five championship courses at the resort.

“We are getting to experience a completely different style of golf this week on the Pacific Coast,” said MSU Head Coach Matthew Martin. “Bandon Dunes is absolutely outstanding, and we are incredibly thankful to be here.”

Morehead State will compete against teams from Air Force, Boise State, Boston College, Cal State Northridge, Eastern Kentucky, the host school Idaho, North Dakota State, North Idaho College, defending and three-time tournament champion Oregon, San Jose State, Seattle University, fellow Ohio Valley Conference member SIUE, Tarleton State and Utah Tech.

“This tournament will challenge us with all the elements of links golf, the wind will definitely be a challenge to all the players,” said Martin. “The strength of the field is very strong, and I feel it will only make us better going forward.”

Morehead State will line up Senior Nolan Piazza, Junior Logan McCormick, Sophomore Remy Stalcup, and freshmen Seamus Bogun and Gavin Augenstein. Junior Logan Liles will compete as an individual.

The Bandon Dunes Championship is the second of seven tournaments in the Spring swing for the Eagles, culminating in the Ohio Valley Conference Championship to be held April 20-23, over the Dalhousie Golf Club course in Cape Girardeau, Mo.
