It’s time for some moves.
The 2025 NHL trade deadline is here and big names Mikko Rantanen, Elias Pettersson and Brock Boeser could be changing teams. The Islanders traded Brock Nelson and prospect William Dufour to the Avalanche for Cal Ritchie, Oliver Kylington, a first-round pick in either 2026 or 2027 and a conditional third-round pick in 2028.
The Rangers are in need of a shakeup ahead of their late-season playoff push and the Islanders may be better suited as sellers.
