CELEBRATED ITS GRAND OPENING OF ITS NEW WOMEN’S SPORTS BAR IN BENSON. THE OWNER SAYS IT IS THE EIGHTH WOMEN’S SPORTS FOCUSED ESTABLISHMENT ACROSS THE COUNTRY, AND THE FIRST IN NEBRASKA. I HAD THE OPPORTUNITY TO GO TO THE ONE IN SEATTLE CALLED ROUGH AND TUMBLE, AND THAT’S WHERE I GOT THE IDEA THAT SOMEBODY REALLY SHOULD DO THIS IN OMAHA, AND NO ONE WAS DOING IT IN OMAHA. DESPITE HAVING THE HUSKERS, DESPITE HAVING TWO PRO VOLLEYBALL TEAMS. SO I WANTED TO MAKE THAT HAPPEN. WELL, TOMORROW THEY’LL BE SHOWING THE CREIGHTON WOMEN TAKE ON ILLINOIS. THAT GAME STARTS AT 615. Set the Bar celebrated its grand opening on Friday.The new women’s sports bar is located in Benson. The owner says it is the eighth women’s sports-focused establishment across the country and the first in Nebraska.”I had the opportunity to go to the one in, Seattle called Rough and Tumble. And that’s where I got the idea that somebody really should do this in Omaha. And no one was doing it in Omaha, despite having the Huskers, despite having, two pro volleyball teams.
