MLB.com revealed the Dodgers’ top 30 prospects on Wednesday, and Roki Sasaki leads as the organization’s №1 prospect.

The club’s top six prospects — all ranked in MLB.com’s Top 100 Prospects list — were all invitees to Dodgers’ Spring Training big league camp this year.

That group is:
1. Roki Sasaki, RHP (№1 on MLB.com’s Top 100 list)
2. Dalton Rushing, C/OF (№30 on MLB.com’s Top 100 list)
3. Josue De Paula, OF (№40 on MLB.com’s Top 100 list)
4. Jackson Ferris, LHP (№70 on MLB.com’s Top 100 list)
5. Alex Freeland, SS (№71 on MLB.com’s Top 100 list)
6. Zyhir Hope, OF (№75 on MLB.com’s Top 100 list)

Sasaki made his Cactus League debut on Tuesday. He impressed with three scoreless innings against the Reds, striking out five batters among the 13 he faced.

Rushing — who was the Dodgers’ №1 prospect in 2023 and 2024 — moved to №2 after Sasaki’s signing, but the catcher/outfielder remains one of the Dodgers’ key pieces to the future. The 24-year-old was their 2024 Branch Rickey Player of the Year hit 26 homers and drove in 85 RBI in the Minors last year.

Freeland wasn’t ranked among the Dodgers’ top 30 prospects at this time last year. But after he slashed .260/.387/.442/.829 with 18 homers between Double-A Tulsa and Triple-A Oklahoma City, the middle infielder has taken a sizable leap.

Ferris and Hope were both acquired in the deal that sent Michael Busch and Yency Almonte to the Cubs on Jan. 12, 2024. Ferris was the Dodgers’ 2024 Branch Rickey Minor League Pitcher of the Year. Hope was one of the more impressive Dodger prospects in the early part of Spring Training, wowing player development personnel with his power.

The top 30 list also includes prospects with Major League experience. River Ryan (â„–10), Justin Wrobleski (â„–11), Ben Casparius (â„–14), Edgardo Henriquez (â„–18) earned their call-ups in 2024.

Casparius and Henriquez both pitched for the Dodgers in the 2024 postseason.

The MLB.com top 30 list also revealed best tools in the organization with three top scores (80 on the 20–80 scouting scale): Sasaki’s splitter and former first-round picks Kendall George and Kellon Lindsey earning 80s for their speed.
