France and Real Madrid superstar Kylian Mbappé continues to go from strength to strength across what has become a brilliant debut season in the Spanish capital.
Now settled to life in the aftermath of his move from PSG, Mbappé has put all doubts behind him as the goals continue to flow, and a cheeky panenka to put Real Madrid temporarily in the lead against Leganés was one of his best this campaign.

After Arda Güler was judged to have been brought down in the box, Mbappé converted from the spot with a touch of class, giving him 21 league goals this season, which puts him level with Manchester City’s Erling Haaland.
The budding goalscoring rivalry between the two world-class strikers goes beyond that marker as well, with the pair sitting on 48 goals since the start of last season.
Though Mbappé may have the last laugh in the Champions League, this is shaping up to define the European landscape for years to come.
