National reaction to two-time Super Bowl Champion Brandon Graham announcing his retirement from the NFL after 15 seasons with the Philadelphia Eagles
Brandon Graham is the epitome of the positivity and humility and the Eagles star walked away from the NFL on Tuesday after 15 years in Philadelphia. A first round pick out of Michigan, Graham overcame doubts and the bust label to become a team captain, Pro Bowl performer and two time Super Bowl champion.
Graham suffered a torn Triceps late in the second half against the Rams, ending his regular season after 11 games and what many thought was Graham’s career. The star pass rusher worked to return, and was activated ahead of Super Bowl 59. Graham finished the 2024 regular season with 13 tackles, 2.5 sacks, one forced fumble, a 75.7 grade from PFF, 13 QB hurries, and 19 QB pressures.
The 35-year-old Graham is third on the Eagle’s all-time sack list (75.5) and tied with Seth Joyner for second in team history in forced fumbles (21). Graham broke Chuck Bednarik’s record for the most seasons played with the franchise (15).
