Thomasville Bulldogs soccer season off to a solid start, thanks in large part to Ulloa

THOMASVILLE, Ga. (WALB) – The Thomasville Bulldogs are off to a solid start of the 2025 soccer season. They sit at 6-2, winning their last five matches. That’s largely thanks to sophomore Gio Ulloa.

Thomasville got wins in all three of their games this week. Ulloa scored five goals and made seven assists between the three games.

Gio Ulloa stats this week (March 3 – March 7):
  • 5 Goals
    • 2 vs. Deerfield-Windsor
    • 1 vs. Valwood
    • 2 vs. Fitzgerald
  • 7 Assists
    • 3 vs. Deerfield-Windsor
    • 2 vs. Valwood
    • 2 vs. Fitzgerald

Ulloa sent a perfect pass to teammate Davis Williams, getting in on the first goal of the match against Deerfield-Windsor. It didn’t stop there – Ulloa then extended the Bulldogs’ lead to 3-Nil after drawing a penalty in the box to set up a penalty kick.

The sophomore delivered. Ulloa’s relentless pressure on the Knights’ defense sparked the Bulldogs to an 8-0 win over Deerfield-Windsor.

Congratulations to Gio Ulloa – Our WALB Player of the Week!
