In the final week of the NCAA Men’s Basketball regular season, the Michigan Wolverines look to stay in contention for the Big Ten Regular Season title when they host the Maryland Terrapins on Wednesday night.

With just two games left in the regular season, the Wolverines are still withing striking distance of finishing atop the conference and snagging the first seed heading into the Big Ten Tournament. It has not been an easy road to this point for Michigan in the ever-competitive B1G, which was noticeable in their 20-point loss at home to the Illinois Fighting Illini this past Sunday. Yet, a win on Wednesday night would give them at least a shot at the regular season title, as they have a shot at redemption against the Michigan State Spartans on Sunday.
The Terrapins might not have a shot at finishing first in the conference, but they have an opportunity to get a bye to the quarterfinals. Sitting third in the conference, if Maryland beats Michigan on Wednesday, and the Wolverines lose to MSU, and Maryland defeats the Northwestern Wildcats, the Terps would move into second place.
