Mbappe puts Real Madrid on top of Europe

Real Madrid achieved a special record during their match against Celta Vigo, on Thursday evening, in the round of 16 of the Spanish King’s Cup, at the Santiago Bernabeu Stadium.

French star Kylian Mbappe scored the opening goal for Real Madrid in the 37th minute, as he received a pass from his teammate Dani Ceballos, and took off and shot the ball to the left of goalkeeper Villar.

The first half ended with Real Madrid leading its guest Celta Vigo, with one goal to none, while two extra halves were resorted to after a 2-2 draw in regular time of the match, during which Real Madrid succeeded in achieving victory with a score of 5-2.

According to Opta , since last December, Real Madrid has become the only team in the top five European leagues to have at least two players who have scored 7 or more goals, namely Kylian Mbappe and Jude Bellingham.
